Dawn Thie

Dawn has been practicing Yoga and Pilates for over 35 years and teaching for 10 years. Dawn was a student athlete and very active until a genetic joint disorder sidelined her sports career. High-impact activities were painful and she tried many different exercise practices to find one that worked for her body. Yoga and Pilates were the most accessible practices with great physical results. Eventually, after her business career of 20 years, she decided to change paths and became certified in Power Pilates mat practices and many different forms of yoga. Dawn creates dynamic classes that utilize your own body weight and props to effectively work all muscle groups with low-impact targeted movements. Classes allow for easier modifications and challenging variations. Her classes are fun, upbeat and playful, but don't let that fool you. They are challenging and inspiring.
